Jonathan R. Hammond

Jon is a civil litigation attorney with experience representing clients in matters ranging from construction defect claims to personal injury suits.  He has also represented small businesses and individuals in disputes related to breach of contract, suretyship, commercial leasing, zoning enforcement, and unlawful detainer, and has acted as counsel for medical professionals in proceedings before state administrative boards.  Jon has obtained favorable results for clients in state and federal courts, arbitration, and at the appellate level.  Prior to joining the firm in 2016, Jon practiced for several years with a large litigation firm in Southern California where his focus was the defense residential developers in multi-party construction defect actions. 

During law school, Jon was awarded the American Law Institute (ALI)/American Bar Association (ABA) Award for Scholarship and Leadership. He also externed for a state appellate court justice, was the Business Development Editor of the Chapman Law Review, and competed on the law school's moot court team. Jon is fluent in Spanish after having lived in Mexico for five years before attending law school.  In his free time, Jon enjoys spending time outdoors with his wife and three young children.
